Conclusioned.
In the end there was a stay of execution.
I just couldn't bring myself to do it. There were so many good times, the trips, and the quiet moments where it was just the two of us. There were some dark times too, when the weight of the entire world seemed to be pressing down. But we got through it all.
I couldn't let this one thing destroy us.
So, in the back of some forgotten drawer, past the months old mail and never played with Magic cards, my old credit card will reside.
Long out of use, but always remembered.
(And sorry for the craptastic scan. Today's drawing was too close to the edges, and my scanner and I fought about it, but in the end I decided some holes showing was going to have to be okay.)

What I'm reading today.
10,000 reasons the world will end soon.
Best so far?
Reason #341: There's stuff under Antarctica that we really don't want to thaw out.

What I'm looking at: Monday Edition.
Drawing Edition!
Wally Wood made a reference for himself called 22 panels that always work. Joel Johnson bought the one of the original paste ups, and has scanned in high resolution copies to be viewed on the web. Interesting stuff.
Drawspace features lessons for drawing oddly enough. I looked over the very beginning stuff for a few seconds last night, and plan to spend a bit more time with it later this week.
My Drawings is a social drawing website by the guys that do ExtraLife. You can just draw individual pictures, or you can draw on the world canvas, and see your pictures with others. Its a neat concept.
Till tomorrow, gang.

Rough vs Final
Today's rough draft looked a lot better than the final one. Not sure where the pencil + giant moth equation when wrong, but somehow I had problems getting him drawn in blue.
I may post the early draft later on.
I also will try to put up a picture of the monstrosity as it sat outside our door.
Monsterous.

Dead Animation Temptation
The first time I played Resident Evil was in New Jersey, visiting an old friend with my brother. It scared the crap out of me. Like really scared the living crap right out of me. Since then I've had a checkered history of enjoying Undead killing in all its various forms.
This zombie facination even comes in comic form with The Walking Dead.
So when a new game of zombie kiling action comes out, I'm very tempted to bring it home.
We'll see how long I hold out.

(the zombie is blatently stolen from here).

Just a Cricket...
Suck.
Suckity Suck Suck Suck.
My pens suck. Inking sucks. Erasing pencils sucks, doing before the ink dries sucks even more.
Getting out of class 5 hours early rocks. Prison Break finally being out on DVD rocks too. Hopefully Ill get a chance to watch it all next week after Amber's family is done taking over my living room.
Oh, and the illegible thing in panel two? that says 'Crack!'. I need to get other pens soon. Maybe I'll get out of class early tomorrow too.

I used to dig swimming.
But for some reason as I grew older I wanted to be around water less and less. Once in a pet store, I had to walk down a small aisle that had floor to ceiling aquariums. Just thinking about it now gives me the heebie jeebies.
Now sailing on the ocean, that's a different story. And a Life Goal.
Into the sunset,
alex.
